SOUTHAMPTON V QPR PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Another relegation 6 pointer sees two sides who would desperately want a win to help their fight for safety. 

Southampton are 16^th in the table with 27 points form 27 matches which leaves them just 3 points ahead of safety.  They have played some good football lately under new manager Mauricio Pochettino culminating in an excellent 3-1 win over Manchester City in their last home match.  Southampton will be confident they can take themselves further away from the relegation zone with a win here.

QPR are still adrift at the bottom of the table with 17 points from 27 matches which leaves them an uphill battle to make up the 7 point gap to safety.  Their recent form hasn’t shown any indication that they can move up the table with no wins in their last 6 matches.  They have drawn a number of games but 1 point at a time is no good for QPR and they need to put together back to back wins at some point to put the pressure on the teams ahead of them.

SOUTHAMPTON V QPR PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Southampton have shown they can play some excellent football at times this season and are completely fresh of injuries so will feel they are strong favourites for this match.  QPR also have their fittest squad of the season with Bobby Zamora back in action and they’ll need his goals if they are going to pull off a miraculous escape.

I think Southampton are the better side here, especially at home and if they can play half as well as they did against City last time out then they’ll get the win.
