Both teams have been a little below par of late and Spurs especially dropped some big points. Southampton have not been the same for a few weeks. The hammering at Liverpool in Capital One Cup was followed with a league run of 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. They occupy 12^th with 5 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses. Home form reads 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. They will be without the long termers but have no new injury worries to outfield players with keeper Stekelenburg the only man out and Graziano Pelle is at full fitness. Spurs have worries over Dembele but he should be ok. They will be without Clinton Njie, Ryan Mason and Alex Pritchard. Spurs were pretty average last match and lost a 1 goal lead to Newcastle, who ran out 2-1 winners. Spurs sit in 5^th with 26 points. Away form for them reads 2 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss. Recent form shows 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss. Spurs are through to the knockout stages of Europa League which I felt was hindering them in the EPL. They had some tough games there. Now full focus can return to Premiership.

Southampton are always over rated for me by bookies. I would have Spurs favourites for this one. I take them at Evens or 2.00 on draw no bet.
