SOUTHAMPTON v TOTTENHAM: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Southampton are back in reality after an awful run of form. Slipping down the table they are now in 9^th with 6 wins, 6 draws and 4 losses. No wins in 5 games now with 2 draws and 3 defeats. However they still hold the strongest defensive record despite the poor run. Boruc, Fox and Wanyama are still missing while doubts remain over Nathaniel Clyne. Spurs poor run is well documented and AVB was ousted with little hesitation. Tim Sherwood holds the reigns for now but a loss in midweek in Capital One cup has done him no favours. Spurs are 1 place and 3 points above Southampon. Overall form reads 8 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats. Spurs are struggling infront of goals with the worst scoring record in the top half of the table. Scoring less league goals than Luis Suarez! Out for Spurs are Vertonghen, Paulinho and Townsend, with Sandro likely to miss out too.

I take Spurs to put and end to their miserable run on the South Coast. To find Southampton favourite is a remarkable thing in itself but they have been backed too. I take Spurs to nick one and with a back to basics display grab the three points.
