STOKE CITY V CRYSTAL PALACE PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Stoke are 10^th in the Premier League with 29 points form 22 matches.  They were routinely tipped to struggle this year and were a lot of pundits tip to go down, but they have shown again that they a strong EPL strength side who deserve their place in the top flight.

Crystal Palace are 4^th in the Championship and are fighting hard for automatic promotion to the Premier League.  They’ve been on a poor run lately winning just one of their last 5 league matches but they are still well placed to go up.

In the first leg the teams played out a 0-0 draw.  Stoke played a practically full strength side which shows how seriously they are taking the tie.  I suspect they will continue with a strong side tonight and will want to go as far in the competition as possible.

Palace rested a few players in the first leg but it was still generally a strong side.  They have an important match in the Championship at the weekend, hosting Bolton, so their attention may be on that rather than this tie.
