STOKE – CRYSTAL PALACE PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Stoke opened up with a difficult tie, away to Liverpool was never going to be an easy tie as there is renewed vigour at Anfield this season. However Stoke were always in the game and should have really left with a point. Despite conceding to a Sturridge long range effort Stoke were not overrun. Indeed only for a last minute penalty miss when the normally dependable John Walters had his shot saved by Mignolet. Stoke were not their usual selves though and tried more on the deck football, with Mark Hughes trying to change to style it may take Stoke a few games to adjust. Only injury for Stoke is Wilson Palacios who fell ill before the Liverpool game and will be out for a few weeks.

Crystal Palace had a hard game of their own, a home match against Tottenham. They battled hard and gave a decent account of themselves. However they hardly looked like scoring for the entirety of the game and did not really get going in the Spurs half. Injuries to contend with for Palace too with key wingmen Yannick Bolasie and Jerome Thomas both out. Also missing will be Glen Murray, the key striker will miss a lot of 2013 for sure.
