Stoke is 2-0-1 under Mark Hughes so far in the English Premier League. Last match day they won deservedly 1-0 away to West ham. Stoke has seemingly taken a step forward under Hughes. Since and including 2012 this fixture has been played three times. Twice it has ended 1-1 and in January this year Manchester City won in the FA Cup. One thing is certain here. Stoke will as before stay compact, tough to beat and then they will take the game from there. 

Manchester City beat Hull 2-0 last match day and have now scored eight goals in three matches. Their forward line up is massive even if David Silva is a 50-50 doubt. At the back they are still a wee bit short as central defenders as Vincent Kompany and new boy Martin Demichelis are both out. Matija Nastasic is however fit and Micah Richards could return here after being out for some time. Manchester City will take this game to Stoke, probe their defense and with excellent forwards surely at least one goal will come.

Manchester City coach Pellegrini knows attack is the best defense for his team, and I am sure he will set his side up reflecting this. He’ll be confident they can outscore and outperform this Stoke side. 

On the other hand Stoke has been quite decent so far, and scored a few goals. I think they can score against a free flowing attack minded Man City too. They’ve actually done so at the Britannia the last five EPL matches! When Coral offers 1.91 (10/11) for both teams to score I get very interested. That price is definitely worth taking.
