Stoke host Newcastle in the final game of round 6 of England Premier. Stoke have not started as well as I thought and are in 17th with just 5 points. They have lost both games at home 1-0 (Leicester and Aston Villa) but are unbeaten away which is very unlike them. They are more suited to counter attacking football which hasnt helped so far at home. Mark Hughes has no new injury worries but Odemwingie, and Cameron are still unavailable. Attacker Jon Walters may return from injury. Newcastle sit bottom of the table with 3 points, they have 3 draws and 2 losses. Coach Pardew is under immense pressure as the word from up above is if he loses here hes out of a job. Daryl Jaanmaat is available but Mehdi Abeid, Davide Santon, Siem de Jon, Rolando Aarons are all out.
Tough game to pick a winner of here. Stoke are struggling to find their rythmn this season and the Britannia is not giving them the usual home comforts as they have lost both games so far against mediocre opponents. Newcastle too are struggling but are not as bad as the table suggests. A see goals for both sides and that is the best bet here.
