Final match in Capital One Cup and its Stoke v Sheffield Wednesday at Britannia Stadium. Stoke are doing well in the Premier League and are sitting in 12th with 19 points from 14 games. Last weekend they were going along nicely until hot head Ryan Shawcross was sent off at 0-0 with Sunderland. They couldn't recover and lost 2-0 to lose a match for the 1st time in 5 matches. A run which included wins over Chelsea, Southampton and Newcastle, all without conceding. In fact they also knocked Chelsea out of this competition in this last round also. Shawcross is suspended for this one but they do have a full squad otherwise. Sheffield Wednesday lose striker Forestieri who is ineligible. They are without Midfielders Barry Bannan and Filipe Melo, defenders Vincent Sasso and Michael Turner, forwards Sergiu Bus and Marco Matias. Wednesday are in 8th with 28 points from 18 games but have only won once in last 4 matches.

Sheff Wednesday are in good form its true but they are missing a few men here. They are big underdogs for me and to find odds of 5-6 or 1.83 on the Premiership side is massive. Stoke would be around that price against a Palace or a West Ham. Two sides who are supremely better than Sheffield Wednesday.
