Stoke are going well at the moment, as they were always bound to with key men returning from injuries and suspensions. They are up to 11^th with 3 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses. Home form sees 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses. Last 7 matches see 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses with Stoke unbeaten in 5 in all competitions.  Diouf and Shawcross are unsure of starting as both have been out the side for last match. Walters and Given are back in the squad though. Watford had been playing ok until last match in which they were trounced 3-0 at home to Arsenal. They are down in 15^th now with 2 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses. Watford have only managed 6 goals all season (worst in league) and that’s a major concern if they want to stay in the league. They miss Jurado and Behrami plus Joel Ekstrand and Tommie Hoban both in defence.

Stoke are starting to put in the performances I expected preseason. With a side of quality and a decent manager in Hughes I expect them to surge up the table now their squad is back to almost full strength.
