SUNDERLAND – CHELSEA 1x2: BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Sunderland sit rock bottom of the Premiership after just two wins all season. Gus Poyet has replaced Paulo Di Canio but the low quality squad remains. Sunderland have tightened up at the back and look a bit more solid than under Di Canio at least. They have few option up front and have little creativity. Doubts for today over defenders O’Shea and Diakate. Chelsea are mainly playing well but have had a few blips over the last few weeks. After a long unbeaten run of 9 games in October and early November (8 wins and 1 draw) they have slipped up a few times with losses to Newcastle and Basel. Generally solid allround, with a few options in attack with a huge roster of midfielders to choose from. David Luiz and Oscar will sit out whil Eto’o is touch and go to play.

An easy win here for Chelsea who should be able to grab a high margin win over the lacklustre Sunderland side. Over the past 12 games Chelsea have managed 8 out of 12 wins by 2 goals o more and that looks  the play here. Sunderland at most will score 1 and I believe that is a stretch so -1.5 looks a great value play.
