Against LFC I think the French players of Newcastle put in a good effort, and if they are up to it again, they should have better luck against their neighbors this season. Steven Fletcher has returned to lead the Sunderland attack, and his presence will be imperative here. Newcastle has goal threat from several players, and the pace and power of Loic Remy combined with the trickery of Ben Arfa will probably create havoc in the poor Sunderland defense more than once.
