SUNDERLAND V TOTTENHAM: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Sunderland are still in the lower reaches of the league but improvements have been forthcoming in the performances. Sunderland sit bottom with 2 wins, 2 draws and 10 losses.  Recent results have seen wins over Southampton and Man City and a draw with Villa. Last week saw a ding dong battle with Chelsea but they lost 4-3 in a titanic battle. Reason for optimism for Gus Poyet. Out for Sunderland should have Modobo Diakate and keeper Westwood available after knocks. Tottenham are in a strange period at the moment. They started off in cracking form but have really gone off the boil. They sit in 6^th with 7 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses. Form is mixed with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. Scoring is still a massive problem with just 13 goals scored in 14 goals, the worst return in the top half of the table. Spurs have one of the best defensive records in the league though, this despite shipping 6 against Man City!

 A game that looks it could be finely balanced but for me you have to look past the recent statistics. Sunderland are still a poor side with a lack of allround quality. Spurs are rammed with talent and for me are still a top 4 contender. I think AVB needs to slightly amend his approach and attack more. Sunderland are there for the taking and Spurs are a very good price here.
