SWANSEA CITY V ARSENAL PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Swansea are an impressive 9^th in the EPL this year and are continuing their great form from last year under new manager Michael Laudrup. They look assured of another year of Premiership survival which was their main goal and they can look to building on the quality of the squad for the future. Signings such as Michu and Ki Sung-Yong have shown they have a real eye for talent.

Arsenal are 6^th in the Premiership and are as usual in the fight for the Champions League places. They have not had their best season so far but would be only 2 points off 3^rd place if they win their game in hand and they have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, albeit against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has shown this season he is really going to take cup competitions seriously and has said in the build-up to this match that he will again choose a strong line-up of 1^st team players.
