Swansea v Arsenal predictions & betting tips

Swansea has been playing some good football as of late, and has won three of their last four competitive matches. To make sweet sweeter; those wins were all to nil, and they scored 2+ in all of them. Swansea should have no major fitness worries for this tie. They might be a bit tired though as they do not have huge squads like the top clubs, and they’ve been playing a lot of football lately and still has a lot of football coming up.

Arsenal is on top of the Premier League with 4-0-1 so far. They’ll be confident they can tilt Swansea down from their high horse as the Gunners won both home and away last season. Key for them will be to get Ozil and Giroud continue the good work they’ve laid down lately.

Arsene Wenger still has a handful of really good players on the sidelines though: Walcott, Rosicky, Podolski, Diaby, Cazorla and Oxelade-Chamberlain are all still sitting out. Vermaelen and Arteta should be fit here. Ramsay is potentially a doubt. Wenger rotated his squad in midweek, and he has a big Champions League game against Napoli coming up in a few days. I suspect this game can be in the back of the players’ mind.

I find it very difficult to bet against this Swansea side. They have been magnificent lately, simple as that! Arsenal will be a tough test, but Swansea is in-form as a team and Michu is back scoring goals again. I will go for the double chance 1X here at 1.70 (7/10) with Bet365. This Arsenal side is too good to be overlooked though no matter how good Swansea has been lately. The draw gives me enough cushion, and I am all over this bet.
