SWANSEA v CRYSTAL PALACE: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Swansea return from a real close call with big spending Napoli in Europa League knockout stages. With them at one point seemed poised to go through on away goals. At 1-1 in Naples they were almost through but conceded two late on to bow out. For me its always very difficult to play Thursday and Sunday and Spurs are another team who have struggled post European Thursday matches. Swansea are in 13^th with 7 wins, 7 draws and 13 losses. At home they have been up and down with 4 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses. Recent form has seen no wins in 5 for Garry Monk’s team with 2 draws and 3 losses. Defending has been a real issue for them with 11 goals conceded. Missing here could be a host of 1^st choice midfielders. Shelvy, Dyer, Michu and Britton all have doubts. Palace have  improved greatly under Pulis and they have become more rounded.  They sit 16^th with 8 wins, 2 draws and 16 losses. Away form reads 2 wins and 10 losses which is poor. No one out for The Eagles here  who have a full squad.

Swansea have been very poor defensively recently which is very strange given that new interim coach Garry Monk is an actual member of the back four. They have let 11 in during the last 5 matches which is too many.  I think Palace can match Swansea for sure and both score looks the best bet in this match. Goal stats for the last 10 matches show 29 goals for a 2.90 game average. With both teams to score happening on 6 of the 10 occasions.
