TOTTENHAM v CARDIFF: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Normally I would be keen to oppose midweek Europa League participants and Spurs did have an epic battle with Ukranians Dnipro. They left it late to turn around a 2-0 deficit and go through with three late goals for a legendary White Hart Lane comeback. They will have to battle on though in the race for 4^th. They now sit in 5^th but are now 7 points adrift of Man City who occupy the last Champions League spot but have a game in hand. Home form is ok with 6 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. It’s the worst record in the top 8 so its been their downfall this season. Recent form for Spurs reads 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses which isn’t the best. Missing here for them will be Chiriches, Lemela and Defoe (left club) while doubts over Kaboul, Rose, Walker, Sigurdsson and Caboue. Cardiff seemed doomed to me and it’s a wonder if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gets a crack at The Championship if they do go down. They are 2^nd bottom with a record of 5 wins, 7 draws and 15 losses. Home form reads 4 wins, 4 draws and 6 losses. With recent form showing no wins in 4 (1 draw and 3 losses) Out for Cardiff are Medel and Hudson.

Spurs fresh from a titanic 90 minutes against Dnipro may have been considered a lay but they do have depth to the squad. Cardiff are a very poor Premiership side and I have them down as likely last place finishers. I don’t expect them to challenge at all here and a comfortable home win is expected.
