Tottenham (13-4-5) look to be an improved team since Sherwood took over with five wins and a draw in the six league games since he became coach. They have an excellent chance of claiming the fourth Champions league place in the EPL, and will be keen to erase the memory of the 6-0 defeat at the Etihad the last time these two sides met. Man City (16-2-4) have gone nineteen games unbeaten in all competitions, and are still in contention to lift four trophies. Their offensive options are endless, and they have the power to steamroller teams, although their away league record (5-2-4) should give hope to Tottenham. The return of Vertonghen, Kaboul(def), Paulinho, Townsend and Sandro(mid) will give the Spurs a lift, while City will be without Nasri(mid) and Negredo(str) for the match.
