TOTTENHAM V MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Tottenham are 4^th in the EPL with 40 points from 22 matches.  They have won 12, drawn 4 and lost 6 while scoring 39 goals and conceding 27.  Their recent form has seen 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 matches with an aggregate score of 9-2.  3 of the 5 games had over 2.5 goals.

Manchester United are top of the Premier League with 55 points from 22 matches.  They have won 18, drawn 1 and lost 3 while scoring 56 goals and conceding 29.  Their recent form has seen 4 wins and 1 draw in their last 5 games with an aggregate score of 13-5.  3 of the 5 games ended with over 2.5 goals.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Tottenham are in a tough fight for a top 4 place, with just 5 points separating 3^rd place to 6^th place (allowing for games in hand).  They have been in strong form lately winning 3 of their last 4 games but a 0-0 draw at QPR last week would have been very disappointing as it could have taken Spurs level with Chelsea in 3^rd place.

Tottenham have some bad injury news this week with midfielder Sandro ruled out for the season, he’s been in great form so far this year and has been first choice in every EPL match.  Spurs will hope Scott Parker will be able to fill in and find the form that made him one of the players of the year last season.  Joining Sandro out injured for this are Gallas and Kaboul who have been missing for a number of weeks.

Manchester United have their own season ending injury news this week after Darren Fletcher underwent an operation for his long term bowel problem and will be recovering for the rest of the campaign.  Other than that United are at full strength and they have been taking full advantage of it with 4 straight league wins which has them comfortably 7 points clear at the top of the table.

This will be an exciting game with Tottenham one of the few teams to have beaten United this year, a 3-2 win at Old Trafford.  They won’t have any fear about facing United and know a win will have them in a great position for a top 4 finish.

TOTTENHAM V MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Despite being the away side Manchester United are small favourites here which you can understand when you look at their record this year.  United have at times dropped points away from home though with 3 wins, 1 draw and a defeat in their last 5 away games.  While Spurs have won 4 of their last 5 at home.

I’m going to go against the favourite here and think the value is to be found with a Spurs win.

Stan James are top price with a very generous 3.10 for Tottenham to win, which I’ll be backing quick as I expect it to drop.
