TOTTENHAM V NEWCASTLE PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Tottenham are 4^th in the Premier League with 45 points from 25 matches.  They are just 1 point off 3^rd place Chelsea and 3 points ahead of 5^th placed Everton.  Spurs have won 2 and drawn 3 of their last 5 EPL matches, with an aggregate score of 6-3. 

Newcastle are 15^th in the table with 27 points from 25 matches.  They have pulled 6 points clear of the relegation zone thanks to two straight league wins, 2-1 away at Aston Villa and 3-2 at home to Chelsea.  They really seem like a new team with the players brought in during the January transfer window.

On the injury front Spurs are missing Sandro for the season and will be without Defoe and Kaboul.  They are already very short of options up front and losing Defoe will add to that, they may well regret not buying a striker when they had the chance in the transfer window.

Newcastle are still struggling badly with injuries with Simpson, Ben Afra, Gosling, Vuckic and Taylor all missing but the 5 first team players brought in in January have added much needed depth to the squad.
