Tottenham v Norwich predictions & betting tips

Tottenham has started decently in the Premier League with 2-0-1. Three one goal affairs so far from them! Last match day they lost 1-0 at the Emirates in the North London derby against Arsenal. Aaron Lennon should be available for selection here, but new recruit Etienne Capoue who has started the season in style is not. The club has made maximum use of the money they got for the Bale sale to Real Madrid. Plenty of quality has walked in the gates at White Hart Lane. AVB has a squad built for winning titles now, no doubt about it.

Norwich has a decent squad this season, and their Physiotherapy room should be quite empty. Elliot Bennett is the only casualty still. This means ex Celtic man Gary Hooper can get his debut. Coach Chris Hughton will have plenty of options, and coming into this tie after a 1-0 win at home against Southampton I think confidence is on the up. This will be a solid test for the Canaries, but a test they’ll be looking forward to.

Tottenham v Norwich betting tips

I expect Tottenham to take the game to Norwich. With a solid defense and midfield as well as players like Soldado, Lamela and Defoe up front this side has no excuses. However Norwich has a very impressive team as well. They look very solid both in defense and in midfield. Up front van Wolfswinkel and Gary Hooper can hurt any team on the planet. This will not be an easy game for Spurs at all.

This leads me to my betting tip which is Norwich +1.5 at 1.69 with Ladbrokes. I definitely rate spurs as the better side of the two, but this Norwich side is absolutely no walkover.
