Spurs bowed out of European football with a 2-2 draw in Portugal against a superior Benfica. They are not in the best run of form and have fell behind in the race for a champions league spot. Spurs overall have 53 points and are 9 behind Arsenal in 4^th.  Home form is not as good as it usually is with 7 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses. Recently they are in and out with 3 wins and 3 losses and a loss and a draw in Europe. Out here for Spurs are Dawson, Chiriches, Capoue and Lamela with Dembele, Walker and Paulinho doubts. Southampton arrive at White Hart Lane on the back of a couple of wins which move them up to just three points below Man Utd. It’s a good barometer of their season so far. Southampton are 8 points behind Spurs, away form is good  with 6 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses. Recent form shows 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. Out for Saints are Lovren and Cork with Schneiderlin, Wanyama and Ramirez all worries.
