West Ham have made an excellent start in their first season back in the EPL and look like easily achieving their main goal of staying up.  They have not rested on their strong first half of the season and instead have built on that and brought more players into the squad.  The biggest names being Joe Cole making a return to his first club from Liverpool, and Marouane Chamakh on loan from Arsenal.

QPR are also in the market for new players and reports have them as snatching Loic Remy from under the nose of Newcastle by offering him better personal terms.  They desperately need a boost to get them off the foot of the table and this could be it, although they’d need to strengthen in other areas also.
