WEST HAM v CHELSEA: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Big Sam of West Ham is under pressure at the moment as The Hammers are in terrible form. West Ham usually plod on in the lower reaches of the league and as long as they play some good football and upset the occasional bigger team the fans are happy. With Allardyce the football is awful and their have been no upsets so far. West Ham sit in 16^th with 2 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats. Form is poor with just 1 win in 6, they are not doing too bad at the back havingonly conceded 11 in 11 (best outside the top 7) but they are struggling for goals. Huge injury crisis for West Ham. Almost the entire defence is struggling with Reid injured and doubts over O’Brian, McCartney, Rat and Collins. Strikers Vaz Te and Carroll sit out while Mladen Petric is a doubt too. Chelsea sit in 4th position with 6 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats. Form is ok with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat but for a Mourinho team they are letting in too many goals. Fernando Torres is touch and go for a game and may start on the bench if at all.

Have to side with Chelsea here against an out of form Hammers and one beset with injuries. If the fitness tests fail West Ham could be forced into major positional changes as the only two other defenders available (Potts & Spence) are out on loan. Chelsea are a decent bet here anyway but add West Hams problems and they become an excellent selection.
