Looks like West Ham are performing their annual Houdini act. When Andy Carroll got the three match ban for elbowing I thought they may be doomed but thanks to a battling defensive performance and skipper Kevin Nolan they grabbed a priceless 2-0 win at Aston Villa. West Ham are up to 15^th with a record of 6 wins, 7 draws and 12 losses. They must kick on now though. At home their record is 3 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses. Out for The Hammers is Carroll, Vaz Te, O’Brian and Maiga. Norwich seem in big trouble as they cannot seem to get a win. They played magnificently against Man City at the weekend though to grab a 0-0 win. They have only won once in 12 matches (6 draws and 5 losses) Away from home they are not great either with 2 wins and 2 draws to go with 8 losses. Missing for Norwich are several key men. Defenders Turner and Bennett. Howson, Gutierrez and Snodgrass in midfield also.

Key men out for Norwich means they go in to this one further disadvantaged. I think West Ham can take this one anyway, I don’t expect it to be a classic but Big Sam wont be bothered at all. He will pump the balls into the box and hope Kevin Nolan can find space and net. Exactly the way they did against Villa at the weekend.
