WEST HAM - READING:PREDICTIONS

West Ham host a Reading side on the way out of England Premiership. The Hammers have been impressive at home this season as usual. Under Sam Allardyce the football hasn’t always been what Hammers fans expect but it has gained results.

West Ham have had a decent season and even though their form has been patchy over the last few months they have avoided their usual end of season scrap with relegation. Coach Sam Allerdyce never sacrificed his normal tactics for the West Ham faithful. Although Hammers fans expect to be entertained I am sure they would rather be battling in The Premiership than passing teams off the park in The Championship. Sam Allerdyce has guided his side to 10t^h position in the England Premiership, The Hammers need a win to hold that place as six teams can overtake them if they slip up. West Brom’s form is poor with 2 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats in recent games. West Ham are a strong home side and no team outside the top 6 has more points gained from home fixtures. James Tomkins has an excellent chance of making the game so only George McCartney is missing for West Ham.

Reading bounce out of the league as they usually do with a whimper. The side was simply not up to the task and very few players deserve to be in this league. Along with Sunderland they are one of the weaker squads in the division and will return to their level in The Championship. Form has been terrible with just 1 win, 2 draws and 6 defeats in the last 9 games. With just 7 goals in that time (4 came in 1 match!) and 15 conceded they will have to seriously think about strengthening for the next time they are back at the top table. Jason Roberts is out injured but Jimmy Kebe is expected to return.

WEST HAM - READING: BETTING TIPS

West Ham at home are a decent outfit and must be considered in any England Premiership match up. The odds are a little on the short side for me though. Some firms are as short as 1.55 on the home side which shows you how poor Reading are. I respect West Hams home form however and with upwards of £5 million at stake here for West Ham in prize money slipping up is not an option.
