WEST HAM v SOUTHAMPTON : 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Two inform sides meet at The Bolyn Ground as West Ham host Southampton. West Ham have won three consecutive games for the 1^st time since the inception of the Premier League which really is an amazing statistic. They are sitting in 11^th with 7 wins, 7 draws and 12 defeats. Home form shows 4 wins 3 draws and 6 losses. The recent form is good with an unbeaten run of 4 games (3 x 2-0 wins over Villa, Swansea and Norwich plus a 0-0 at Chelsea) – Their defence looks rock solid at the moment and that was always going to be the case when West Ham got over their awful run of injuries to backline players. Missing here will be O’Brian plus attackers Maiga, Vaz Te and Carroll. Southampton are on a good run of their own with an unbeaten league run of 6 games (3 wins and 3 losses) – It has been an easy run of games though with only Arsenal a top half side. Possibly missing for Southampton are Lovren and Ramirez who are injury free but may not be risked just yet.

Two sides in great form here put their unbeaten league runs on the line. I expect a very tight game here and don’t see many goals. For me the draw looks the best option, low scoring 0-0 or 1-1 look the best outcomes. Southampton are still too short in most of their games for me and I like that Wets Ham have refound their defensive solidity.
