WIGAN V NORWICH PREDICTIONS

Wigan look to continue their run of late Premier League survival when they host a Norwich side who are still not out of the relegation fight yet themselves.

Wigan are currently 18^th in the EPL in the final relegation spot.  They are just 3 points behind Aston Villa and 4 points behind Southampton and Sunderland with a game in hand over all the sides so it is still all to play for.  They have won 2 of their last 3 league games which has put them back into the hunt and a win here would make things very interesting.  We all know Wigan under Roberto Martinez have performed heroics at this stage of the season before and their players won’t feel the pressure like some other clubs around them.

Norwich are 12^th in the table with 34 points from 30 games, this gives them a 7 point lead over Wigan in the relegation fight but with just 1 win in their last 5 games things are not over yet.  They need at least two more wins to get enough points to be safe and with a difficult run in the pressure may mount if they lose this game.

Wigan have a lengthy injury list with McManaman, Miyaichi, Pollitt, Ramis, Watson and Crusat all missing.  Norwich are not far behind with Bennett, Martin, Pilkington, Surman and Ruddy all expected to miss out but Tettey should be fit in time.
