PSG V MARSEILLE PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

This is the second clash of the week between those teams. On Sunday, Paris won 2-0 in Ligue 1. This game left the feeling that Marseille could have taken one point, but Paris’ goalkeeper Sirigu was in a great day, and Marseille’s defence never managed to stop Lucas and Lavezzi’s rushes. Elie Baup should keep pretty much the same starting eleven as they delivered one of their best games of the season, and they don’t have much quality on their bench to make substitutions anyway. For the home side, Ancelotti has to deal with even more missing players than on Sunday.  Verratti is suspended in the midfield so Beckham will start this one after 20 good minutes with his new teammates this weekend. Lucas Moura is slightly injured and will be resting. And Lavezzi will be able to rest as well. The full squad should be up and running for the second leg against Valencia.

I was very confident that Paris would win on Sunday, even if we expected more control and opportunities from the capital players.
