RAON L’ETAPE V BORDEAUX PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Raon L’Etape is the second smallest team left in this Coupe de France Last 16. They are playing in CFA which is like the fourth division. In this championship they are standing in 11^th position out of 18. Their overall record is 7-6-4 but the interesting fact is that they have played only 6 games at home and haven’t won any of them. On the other hand, they are the best away team with a 7-2-2 record.

But even if they are doing that bad at home, this game against a Ligue 1 team will for sure be a big celebration for this city and its surroundings. That usually brings a lot of motivation to the small team playing home against a big club.

Bordeaux is in 10^th position of Ligue 1 with a record of 9-11-6, and a good 5-5-3 when playing away from home. They have been very inconsistent lately with a promising month of January and a very poor beginning of February with 3 losses in a row. They just qualified in Europe League after beating Dinamo Kiev, but in their last game they lost 2-0 at home, against Brest (14^th).

Bordeaux will probably play with quite a lot of substitutes. Their offensive players David Bellion and Diabaté are both out, so we can expect Henri Saivet to start in front. Francis Gillot will also have to give some rest to a few starters after this Europa League round.
