AJACCIO V MONTPELLIER PREDICTIONS   

This game will be played between two teams who are in bad shape in this Ligue 1. However the home side has much more to worry about than Montpellier.

Ajaccio are standing in 15^th position with a total of 35 points, which is only two points above the relegation zone. In their last 5 games, they drew 3 times and lost twice, so if they keep this pace they could be in great danger very soon. When playing on their pitch, they won 6 of their 16 games, drawing in 5 and losing 5 as well.

Montpellier are in 8^th position with 48 points collected. The 3 losses in the last 4 games put an end to any European hope they might still have. The situation in the staff in just getting worst as the coach (who will not kept) just mentioned that it was hard to give its best knowing that he was about to leave. This obviously impacts the whole squad. When playing away they have a 4-2-10 record with 3 losses in the last 3 trips.

Ajaccio will be relying a lot on its start striker, Adrian Mutu, who seem to be in good shape in this end of the season (2 goals in last week’s loss in Saint-Etienne). He has scored 10 goals so far this season.
