BASTIA V BREST PREDICTIONS    

Bastia (13th) has had positive results in this Ligue recently. They won 3 of their last 5 games and are now 7 points ahead of the relegation zone. We can foresee a pretty quiet end of season for this team whose objective was to maintain its spot in this league. After a brilliant 4-1 home win over Lyon, they won 4-3 in Valenciennes. When playing home, they won 7 of their 14 games, drawing once and losing in 6 games.

Brest has lost its 17th spot to Sochaux last week, and are now the first team in the relegation zone with 29 points. They are on a run of 3 losses in a row. When playing away from home, they have a very poor 3-2-10 record, and Bastia is known as a pretty tough place to play in, so we can expect another painful trip for this team.

Florent Thauvin has proven one more time that he could be a future great player with his two goals for Bastia last week (after coming into the pitch at the 70th minute). Even though he has already signed for Lille for next season, he keeps on improving every week and he is already a key player at 20 years old.
