This Friday Ligue 1 match is between Bordeaux and Paris Saint Germain (PSG). Bordeaux have not started the season that well, they are in 15th place with one win, one draw, and two losses. In their last match they played away to Saint Etienne and lost it 2-1. Man of the match was PSG central defender Silva, other good performances were made by Ibrahimovic, central defender Alex, and left defender Maxwell.

The last encounter between the teams was in August this year, PSG won 2-1 in the French Super Cup.

Both teams have European cups next week, Bordeaux will play away to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday, and PSG are facing Olympiakos in Champions League on Tuesday. PSG had several players away on international duties and that returned late, for instance Maxwell, Thiago Silva, and Lucas Moura were in the US playing for Brazil. Same goes for Lavezzi returning from Argentina, and Cavani will join the PSG squad after their arrival in Bordeaux. So there could be changes in the starting lineup for this match and PSG will have good use for their wide squad in this Friday match and the coming Tuesday CL match.
