BREST V RENNES PREDICTIONS   

It is not often that two teams who are running that terribly are playing each other. They are both on a streak of 6 losses, so at least this streak will stop for one team today.

Brest are diving deep in the relegation zone, in 19^th position with 29 points. They are standing 5 points behind Nancy (17^th) and the fact that they will take the lift down to Ligue 2 will soon be official. In their last 6 games, they scored only one goal, conceding a total of 14. When playing on their pitch, they have a 5-3-8 record.

Rennes was aiming to save its season by winning the Coupe de la Ligue but they lost the final against St-Etienne. The season will be a big fail after they stood in 4^th position at some point. They are now in 10^th position in this Ligue 1, and haven’t won any of their last 9 games. On top of that, the coach Antonetti just stated that he would leave at the end of this season, which could make it even worst regarding player’s commitment.

To top it all, Rennes have not less than 7 regular starters out for this game in Théophile-Catherine, Apam, Alessandrini , Danzé, Erding, Kana-Biyik and Ilunga.
