Evian TG are hosting Lyon in this fourth round match in the French Ligue 1. Evian TG are expected to be around bottom half of the table fighting against relegation in this season while Lyon should be fighting for a top five placement. So far Evian are placed last on the table with no wins, one draw and two losses. They tied the season opener at home 1-1 against Sochaux, then they lost 2-0 away to Marseille and 2-1 home to Rennes. In the last match against Rennes they actually had 59% of the possession and also the most attempts and shots on target (17-11 and 5-4). But it was Rennes that opened the match the best, scoring on a penalty after only 11 minutes and then again after 34 minutes. Rennes had the highest ranking players also, their forward Oliveira was the man of the match and scored both goals. Best player for Evian was forward and goal scorer Berigaud.

Lyon have started the season quite well, they are in third position with two wins and one loss.
