LORIENT V BASTIA PREDICTIONS    

This is a really though game to foresee as both teams are capable of the worst as well as the best.

Lorient Is standing in 8^th position of this Ligue 1 and are potentially still in the fight for European tickets with their 44 points. However, last weekend they got humiliated in Lille   where they lost 5-0 (4-0 after only 34 minutes). Lille is in great shape but this is still unacceptable to be that weak defensively. They are now the 3^rd worst defence of the league with 50 goals conceded in 31 games. At home they have a good 8-4-1 record (6 wins and 3 draws in the last 9 home fixtures).

Bastia will be able to have a quiet end enjoyable end of season after their recent good run. They have won 4 of their last 5 games and are now 9 points above the relegation zone, so the objective is nearly accomplished. They scored 12 goals in their last 3 games (4 in each), so  we can expect another entertaining game in Lorient. They are not doing that well away though, with a poor 3-5-8 record.

Bastia won the first head to head of the season, 2-1 despite a 13^th minute red card.

LORIENT – BASTIA BETTING TIPS

Anything could happen in this game with those two surprising teams. Bastia will probably score at least one or two goals to that very doubtful home side’s defence, but on the other hand Bastia is also the teams who conceded the most goals away (33 in 16 games). I think a 2-2 or 3-3 is likely to happen and I will go for the draw at 3.6 with Coral.
