LYON V SOCHAUX PREDICTIONS   

Paris has put a lot of pressure on Lyon for this Ligue 1 title fight. PSG won 1-0 at home against Montpellier on Friday evening, making a 8 points gap between the two teams. Lyon has no choice but to win that game if they want to keep a small hope. They have a total of 53 points, 2 points above Marseille. At home, they have won 9 games, drawn in 3 and lost 2.

Sochaux is in the first place of this Ligue 1 relegation zone (18^th) with 28 points total, keeping them just one point behind Brest. With 9 games left to play, they still have time to get out of that zone, but it will be extremely complicated to envisage taking the 3 points in Lyon though. When playing away they are doing really badly with a 2-4-8 record and a run of 7 trips without a single win.

Lyon’s best scorer is Gomis with 12 units, and for the away side, it is Privat with 6.

Both coach will be able to use their best starting eleven, which is an advantage for Lyon who has a much better squad.
