MARSEILLE v MONTPELLIER: ASIAN HANDICAP BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Marseille only played on Tuesday and may be feeling the effects here. They have had a very poor Champions League, losing all five games in a group of death with Napoli, Arsenal & Dortmund. In the Ligue 1 they are sitting in 4^th with 7 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. Recent form is a little mixed with 2 wins 1 draw and 3 defeats. Out for Marseille are Rod Fanni and Andre Ayew. Montpellier will have fresher legs for sure but at the moment they cannot get out of the habit of drawing. So far this season they have drawn 9 of their 14 games. With just 3 defeats only the top three have lost fewer than Montpellier though. Recent form is not great with 4 draws and 2 losses. Clean bill of health for Montpellier too.

I feel the draw is a good bet here but the Asian handicap offers great value as Marseille are so short. Marseille will feel the effects off a monumental effort on Tuesday chasing Arsenal all over the Emirates. Two days recovery is simply not enough and a fresh Montpellier will prove too much for Marseille. I take Montpellier with a decent start.
