MONTPELLIER V BREST PREDICTIONS   

Both teams have had a very difficult season at their respective level. The home side won the Ligue 1 title last season, and didn’t manage to confirm for a few reasons: Giroud hasn’t be replaced, a squad way too short and inexperienced to play the Champion’s League, an open fight for a few months between the coach and the president… On the other side, Brest (19^th) are on their way back to the Ligue 2 after a disastrous season.

Montpellier (8^th) lost in 4 of its 5 last games, with a current run of 3 losses in a row. Last week, they lost in Ajaccio. This game has been cancelled by most of the bookmakers after suspicious head signs between Belhanda and Ochoa, Ajaccio’s goalkeeper, on a penalty. Belhanda tried a panenka and Ochoa didn’t move and stopped it.
