PSG V LILLE PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Paris Saint-Germain lost its Ligue 1 first spot on Friday as Lyon was winning 2-0 in Valenciennes. It makes them 3 points away now. They have won 12 games, drawn in 6 and lost 3 so far. When Ancelotti’s squad is playing in the Parc des Princes, they are 6-3-2. The last home game was a boring 0-0 draw against Ajaccio.

Lille are standing in 10^th position, way below their standards. They have a record of 7-9-5 and 2-6-3 when playing away. After their recent glorious years, it seems like they have to start all over again with a squad which has downgraded this last couple years, mainly because of Cabaye and Hazard leaving for the EPL.

Ancelotti will now have complicated decisions to make as it’s the first time of the season that all the offensive players are available and in good shape. As I mentioned before their midweek Coupe de France game against Toulouse, players like Gameiro (1 goal), Menez (2 assists in 45’) and Pastore (1 goal as well), would feel like showing the coach that they deserve to start every game, and they did it very well. On top of that, Lavezzi has been just incredible recently, and Ibrahimovic is back from his suspension.

In Lille, captain Rio Mavuba is out for a couple weeks after his injury this week. He will be missing a lot, for both his warrior mental (which his teammates seem to be lacking this year) and his endless harassment in midfield. I will back Paris at 1.53 with Coral.
