PARIS ST GERMAIN – LYON: BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

PSG continue to power their way through matches and a real dark horse for Champions League such is the quality. They top Ligue 1 after an unbeaten start to the season that has saw them win 10 and draw 4 games. They strangely have an identical record home and away of 5 wins and 2 draws. Its been a long time since the fans of PSG had to suffer a defeat in a competitive game. We have to go all the way back to early March to see that loss. Worse for Lyon as PSG have no injury or suspension problems.  Lyon are a poor imitation of the once great side who dominated French football at the turn of the Millenium. Left behind as the money poured in they have no hope of competing. Sitting in 8^th with 5 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses they are average at best. Just 2 wins from 6 away games means they have little chance here. Two keepers Guardelin and Lopes plus attacker Jimmy Briand miss out.

PSG are great value here and are only so big as Lyon are still a recognised name in French football. That they are a shadow of the side they once were is a benefit to us who will back them. A decent price here for a banker, with Lyon having little chance of stopping the PSG machine.
