PSG v Monaco predictions and betting tips

This is the biggest match so far this season as title holders PSG are hosting current number one Monaco. The league title this season is expected to be between these two teams as the likes of Marseille and Lyon are not in the same class. PSG are currently in 3rd place, after a slow start with two draws they have three consecutive wins in the league and also recorded a 4-1 win away to Olympiakos in the Champions League this midweek.

Monaco have started the season with great results, they are number one with 4-1-0, the only points were dropped at home to Toulouse. The first real test this season came away to Marseille and they won it 2-1. Monaco do not have European matches to think about so can focus solely on the league.

PSG have no new injury worries, but they will have to do without defender Alex (played in all five previous matches) and midfielder Pastore (played in four of the matches). For Monaco midfielder Toulalan is doubtful due to groin problems (he started in four matches), while forward Germain (sub in two matches) and midfielder Dirar (did not play this season) are out with injuries.

PSG v Monaco betting tips

This could end up being a very action packed match. PSG have scored at least two goals in each of the four matches and beat Olympiakos 4-1 earlier this week. Monaco have Riviere and Falco both in great form and the two of them have scored nine goals so far this season. I am therefore betting both teams to score at odds 1/1 (2.0) with Bet365.
