REIMS V LORIENT PREDICTIONS  

With two losses and two draws in their last 4 games, Reims needs to take at least one point in order to stay away from the first relegation spot. They are currently standing in 16^th position with 39 points, giving them a 4-points advantage over Nancy (18^th). When playing home, they won 7 of their 18 games, drawing in 7 and losing in 4. They are very solid defensively on their pitch with just 13 goals conceded in those 18 home fixtures, making then the 2^nd best home defense of Ligue 1, which is very surprising considering their 16^th position in the table.

Lorient is now freewheeling in this Ligue 1, standing in 7^th position with a total of 53 points. They have been very inconsistent all this season, being able to deliver a great performance and then look like a very bad team the following week. They were hoping for a Europa league ticket through the Coupe de France, but got hammered 4-0 on Evian’s pitch for the semi-finals.
