RENNES V BREST PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS

Rennes has been doing very well recently. They are currently standing in 7^th position, just one point behind the 3^rd spot, so they can keep looking for a better final position. They won 8 matches, drew only once and lost 6 times. On their pitch, they are 4-0-3 and lost the last home game against Evian.

Brest is 14^th of this Ligue 1 after having won 5 games, drawn in 2 and lost 8 matches. They managed to take their first away point in Reims, stopping a really bad streak of 7 losses in 7 away games so far. But playing in Rennes should be more complicated than it was in Reims.

Rennes has been really impressive in the last couple months. In their last 12 games (cup included), they won 10 matches and lost 2. They lost one in Saint-Etienne which was rather logical, and there was an accident, at home, against Evian. But they always find a way to move on and win the next ones. That will surely give them even more confidence.

Brest was hosting Marseille in the last fixture. They were hoping that Marseille’s players would have been in bad shape after their heavy home loss (4-1 against Lyon) but it didn’t happen. Brest got beaten on all levels by a good Marseille and the final score (1-2) could have been even better for the guests (4 goal attempts for Brest against 15 for Marseille).
