ST-ETIENNE V MARSEILLE PREDICTIONS 

Thanks to their run of 10 games without a loss (and 4 wins in their last 4 matches), Marseille has officially achieved its objective of the season, which was to end up on the podium and be qualified for the next Champion’s League. They are currently in 2^nd position with a total of 70 points. So they are even sure to finish on their 2^nd spot two games before the end of this Ligue 1, as Lyon (3^rd) is 7 points behind.

This clash has much more importance for St-Etienne who still has a tiny hope to finish in 3^rd position. They are standing in 6^th position at the moment, with 59 points collected. But they are going downhill since they won the Coupe de la Ligue, giving them a qualification for next Europa League. This was also their objective this season, but they could have hoped for even better if they had kept their best level. They remain on 3 games without a win, losing 3-1 in Lorient last weekend.
