Monaco is 5-4-1 at home this season, and been in solid form. Monaco is obviously fighting to get back to Ligue 1, where many say they belong. Laval is 2-3-5 away, and with four losses in a row things doesn't look to good. The reverse fixture ended 0-0, and last season Monaco won 2-1 at home.

Monaco fields a very strong side, looking at the squad sheet. No problems there. Laval is seemingly without Oscar Ewolo, a tiny midfielder, but a regular nevertheless at Laval. His trickery will be missed. I fully expect Monaco to run this game, and ask all the questions. Laval will have to play second fiddle, stay compact and hope to get something on the break.
