BOCHUM – DYNAMO DRESDEN: PREDICTIONS

This game between two of the lesser lights of Bundesliga 2 still gives ample betting opportunities. Its Bochum v Dynamo Dresden at Rewirpower Stadion.

Bochum of North Rhein Westphalia are another side to bounce up and down between the top two tiers of German football. Although present in the top league for 20 consecutive years from 72-92 they have found themselves promoted and relegated 7 times since then.  Bochum have been in Bundesliga 2 for the past two seasons and find themselves behind several teams in outright betting. Bochum opened up with a great 2-1 away win at Union Berlin.

Dynamo Dresden one of the most popular and successful clubs in East German football. Winning eight league titles. Dynamo did manage a few participations in Bundesliga in the early 90’s but  have since drifted between the second and fourth tiers. However some recent rebuilding has seen a bit of a resurgence with a return to Bundesliga 2 in 2011. A difficult opening match against Koln for Dynamo and a 1-1 draw was a fair result in the end.

This game looks a very tight one for me and early on its hard to get a grip on some games. Only 1 game gone and not much to go off. Both sides seem fairly capable and could both do well this season. I think both sides have goals in them so think the early price of Both Teams To Score (1.80 bet365) is a decent price.
