Fortuna Dusseldorf hasn’t been very impressive in the 2. Bundesliga in the early parts of the season. They were relegated from the Bundesliga last season and more was expected. Here Andreas Lambertz and Giannis Gianniotas should still sit out. The injury list has shortened, and they’ve at least secured three draws on the trot. Are we seeing improvement?
Greuther Furth is 6-2-1 in the 2. Bundesliga so far and they’ve looked good in their last two matches, scoring eight goals in the process. This is a very good time for them to meet a wounded Dusseldorf side in my opinion. Furth was also relegated from the Bundesliga last season. One scare here though: Furth lost both matches against Fortuna Dusseldorf last season.
