LEVERKUSEN V BAYERN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Leverkusen put a perfect home record (400) on the line as they look to leapfrog the mighty Bayern in the league table here. A midweek Champions league win over Sociedad with a last minute winner followed last weeks 2-0 home league victory over Hannover, where the game was wrapped up before the break. They sit just a point behind Bayern and Dortmund in the table, but this is the real acid test of how good they are. Midfield maestro Sidney Sam and frontman Kiessling will need to be on song in a match which has a pretty even head to head record in matches played in Leverkusen.

Bayern showed their class again in midweek with a 3-1 win at Manchester City in the Champions league. In Bundesliga they sit joint top with Dortmund (610) on nineteen points, and took their time to wear  down Wolfsburg in a 1-0 home win last week. Bayern are unbeaten in 22 matches away from home in the league and this is one of their tougher tests in Bundesliga, as they look to extend that run here. Mandzukic should start after being an unused sub in midweek, and Guardiola has a wealth of talent in which to choose with only long term casualties Badstubber, Javi Martinez and Thiago out.
