Gladbach (11-6-8) ended a nine game winless run with a fine win in Dortmund last week, and they will hope it puts their season back on track. Earlier in the season they looked real challengers for a Champions league slot, and while that is now a long shot, Europa qualification is a real possibility still. Hertha (10-6-9) are also in that Europa mix, but must bounce back from a dismal performance last week, where they lost 3-0 at home to Hannover. It has been a pleasing return to Bundesliga though in the main for Hertha, and included some impressive away wins. Wendt(def) and Nordtveit(mid) miss out for Gladbach, with Hertha missing Kobiashvili(def), Cigerci, Lustenberger and N’Djeng(mid).
