BORUSSIA DORTMUND V FREIBURG PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Dortmund look to solidify their second place in the Bundesliga as the season winds up in Germany.  They are currently 20 points behind leaders Bayern Munich and the league title is obviously gone but it is important they hold onto second or third place for their guaranteed place in the Champions League next season.  They currently have a 1 point lead over 3^rd place Leverkusen and a 7 point lead over the chasing teams in 4^th and 5^th.  Dortmund’s recent form has been mixed with 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats in their last 5 games and they’ll need to improve that if they want to hold onto 2^nd spot.

Freiburg are in 8^th position with 36 points from 25 games and are in a very tight fight between the sides from 3th to 9^th with only a 4 point gap between them.  The final Champions League spot isn’t out of the question for any of the top half teams if they go on a strong run and Freiburg will fancy their chances.  They are on a run of 3 games without a win however with 2 draws and a defeat and will need to turn that around quickly or they’ll fall down the table.
